RACHEL
Hi I’m Rachel, a Tgirl living in Auckland. Recently I arranged a holiday to Surfer’s Paradise. This was to be my first holiday as Rachel and I was looking forward to it. I am not bad with my makeup but I know there is always room for improvement, so with a few weeks to go before my holiday I decided to start looking for a professional to give me a makeover. Didn’t matter if I only learned one little thing about makeup, and besides that I wanted a little treat while I was there and why not.

Where would I start my search, well Google of course? After a quick search for Makeup Artist’s which didn’t achieve the expected result I came across the Brisbane Tgirl’s web site. Don’t know why I didn’t start there in the first place. I saw a couple of Makeup Artist‘s on their which caught my eye. I emailed 2 of them, the first took a long time to reply but Julie from the Femininity Coach dropped me a line straight away. After a few email’s Julie gave me her phone number and I called the following day. From chatting with her, I could tell this was someone who cared about people. and I arranged a visit.
My flight arrived on a Saturday at 8am and I couldn’t get into my room until 4pm. What a waste of a day, well things could be further from the truth. Julie understanding my situation was quick to find a prefer solution. She arrange to pick me up from the Airport and take me back to her studio for a makeover followed by lunch and then a colour consultation.
The day started off good and just got better. I took all my makeup and had 6 or 7 foundations with me, and guess what. There wasn’t a single foundation in that lot that was correct for my skin colour. Julie with the aid of various coloured cloths showed me what base colour was needed to complement my skin tone. Once she had the correct foundation shade she applied my foundation. Normally I would plaster it on, but when Julie finished it looked so light and natural. She took time to explain everything she was doing and went over it as many times as I needed her too. On the eyes she used a brown eye liner. I never thought of using a brown before, but she explained that it would look softer and more natural and she was so right. Where she could she used my makeup. That way I could reproduce my makeover during the week myself keeping the costs of what I needed to buy to a minimum. Another problem area for me was applying my lip liner. Not only did Julie explain how to put it on, I now enjoy wearing it and use it every time. I have had a couple of professional makeovers before, but I feel that this time I learned a whole lot more than all the times before put together.
Once finished there were photographs, and what girl doesn’t like to have her picture taken. After that we broke for lunch, where I had chance to chat to her husband and another Tgirl who had driven Julie to the airport. Julie took the opportunity to catch up on some emails leaving me to enjoy the endless chat with the others. But once finished we return to the studio and continued our consultation. This time Julie went through various colours that would suit my skin colour. Then she tackled my suitcase, and believe me there was a lot of clothes in that suitcase. She went through which colours/fashions suited me what item went with another. Loads of changes and more pictures. I can tell you it was a fun day. Sadly it came to an end, and Monica (Tgirl) dropped me at my hotel, I was dressed of course.
Julie has regular meeting for all of her Tgirl’s and Sunday was no exception. Back to Julie’s for a fun day meeting a number of other Tgirls and GG’s. Watched a makeover on someone else. Which gave me a chance to refresh my memory from the day before? That was, just what was needed for me. Also meeting the other Tgirl’s gave me the chance to make arrangements to meet them during the coming week. This was going to be one good holiday.
What did I get out of my time at the Femininity Coach, beside a great makeover, new skills, new additions to my makeup kit, an understanding about skin tones, well friends and all you girls out there know how important it is for us Tgirl’s to have friends.
So if you live near Surfer’s or visiting, then you can’t go wrong with a visit to the Femininity Coach. A trip of a life time whether you are at the beginning of your journey or part way through. If you can’t make it to the femininity coach drop them an email anyway. You will find support and help there regardless.
Many thanks to all who helped to make my trip there so memorable, the skills I picked up, the boost it gave to my journey, the fun and most of all the friends.
- Hugs, Rachel
ANGELA

Hi Julie
I want to thank you for my “Transformation Makeover,” for so many years I have had a dream of feeling like a princess, well today I looked and felt like a princess, thank you for making my dream come true.
The road for transgenders and cross dressers is not an easy one, I have harboured my secret of living a double life for so many years and I can’t tell you the difference working with you has made to my confidence, thank you.
Julie, you are so supportive to transgenders and cross dressers and you show that commitment to us girls by teaching us about presentation and makeup. When I go out now people comment how fantastic I look and such a boost to my confidence level (in fact all the girls who have worked with you stand out in the crowd).
I am so glad that I made the effort to come and see you, even though it was such a big step for me.
I would highly recommend that other transgenders and cross dressers use your fantastic service as my confidence levels have soared through the roof.
Once again Julie, thank you so much.
-Love Angela
MONICA

Hi Julie,
I just wanted to express my gratitude for everything you have done for me. I can’t believe how far I have come in such a short space of time…it is amazing! All the other girls that know me are so impressed at the results I have achieved, and to be honest I don’t think I could have ever done this by myself.
Your help and understanding has been invaluable to me. I look back through my photos over the past three months and see the transformation and it is nothing short of a miracle!
I am looking forward to working with as I continue my journey to feminization and I would recommend that anyone who wants to look beautiful and feminine to work with you also. I especially love your transformation workshops and our shopping nights; they have given me so much confidence and self esteem.
-Hugs, Monica

A couple of weeks ago now I emailed Julie for some help and advice, from the word go she has helped me in so many ways imaginable. Julie has been totally amazing.
I have been dressing for 23 years now and my whole life has been leading up to this moment in time. I myself know that I have come a long way in a matter of a couple of weeks from my makeup, clothes, confidence and even getting rid of those monkeys on my back. A lot of the time I found myself asking questions and all it took was a push and a helping hand to face those questions and find those answers you need so you can push forward into the future and be the girl you want to be.
Thank you Julie for what you have done for me I don’t know where I would be without you in my life. It’s nothing short of a miracle to have found someone like you.
I am so blessed and happy that I sent you that email and look forward to sharing my journey even further with you and can’t wait to see what the future entails.
It is a lonely life as a tgirl but there are ways to overcome it and move forward. I was blessed enough to go to one of Julie’s girlie days and I tell you, you would not believe how amazing you feel afterwards. Her workshops are packed filled with tips knowledge and understanding, set in a very comfortable environment.
The way Julie transformed me into such a beautiful woman was out of this world! Meeting other ladies like myself for the first time was a big step but an awesome one.
I have received some lovely feedback on my new look and style from other ladies and friends and can’t wait to see what other goals I can achieve and overcome in the future.
BRING ON THE GOALS!

Janet,
Your extremism shows through in your diatribe against the transgender community. You obviously do not understand the fact that the transgender condition is a medical AND psychological condition. The AMA has formally recognized the existance of Gender Identity Disorder and has recommended the treatments of psychological AND hormone therapy as well as gender reassignment surgery where appropriate. And, my dear, there are many of us who hold very strong religious beliefs who do recognize the validity of the condition. You hold no monopoly on spiritual or religious truth. Only the very uninformed (both about the disease and about God’s plan for those who have it) that preach treatment using the same methodology used for treating alcohol or drug addictions. GID is NOT an addiction. It is a realization that the combination of chromosones mixed improperly in the mother’s womb and that God, through HIS love, gives us the ability to correct that deformity. Repairing the GID deformity is no different than repairing any other birth defect through therapy and/or surgery. God bless you, my dear, and hopefully one day you will have a revelation that allows you to see the beauty of ALL God’s children. Devine revelation came to Paul, and if you are fortunate enough maybe it will happen to you as well.
Reverand Danielle Coates, D.D.
Janet,
You have quite an opinion on a topic you seem to know little about.
My humble suggestion, for what it’s worth, is for you to find out what you are talking about. Why not meet some transgendered people and discuss with them how they feel, who they are?
Rather than casting your own personal bias and view as the only logical solution.
What Julie is doing is helping souls who are in pain. Would you not offer support or assistance to a person who was a quadriplegic? Or would you stand over them as they laid on the floor, unable to move, and simply tell them to “deal with it!”
Transgendered people ask nothing of others, except to be treated with the same respect that everyone deserves. We seek no special privileges.
God gave us the ability to know what we could change, and what we could not. We are simply changing that which we can.
Live and let live. To each their own.
Peace
Savannah
Hi Janet,
I’ve spent many years studying this medical condition, meeting with doctors, psychologist, and scientist from around the world. As a Christian, I have done an exhaustive study on Scripture concerning this matter. I’m curious as to why you would discount the brain and place more emphasis on the anatomy when defining one’s gender?
Thanks,
Kelly
Dearie, What are you doing? ‘If one should gain the whole world but lose his soul, what has he?’ Do you mean for your service to deny acceptance & surrender to the truth? We all have to play the cards we are dealt. Are we not spiritual beings having a human experience? The ego VS the spiritual ‘man’ has nothing to do with religion but just the Human Condition. An age old contest between Bestial & Ethereal Man. How does enabling this charade make these men in reality, happy? Is there not a woman alive who at sometime wanted to change something about herself? Plastic Surgery Junkies are similar caught in spiritual dis-ease! These ‘men’ say they are Women on the inside? We are all animus and anima on the inside, the dominant inside is usually in agreement with the outside, but if not, the physical is the vehicle to experience the world; not mutilating this body but raising above the Bestial is found the sublime bliss. Gender is expressed in the body at birth. Make no mistake that which doesn’t elevate the natural or ‘Condition of Man’, defiles it, and everyone is accountable for his/her contribution. A LIE IS A LIE NO MATTER HOW IT IS DRESSED,or coached, or mutilated. Compulsion Disorder is treatable through using ‘the’ 12 Steps of AA, using its support community; all seeking to find their person inside longing to love & be loved. The only requirement is rigorous honesty.
Can you not help your T-girls to experience femininity through the masculine energy?
