Hello and welcome to a very overdue T-Girl Tips I have missed you all so much and look forward to being a little more regular with sending out Julie’s T-Girls Tips. Well there has been a lot happening since we were last together! I was recently approached by a very successful company who asked me to come on board as one of their success/business coaches. The opportunity was too good to pass up. It has been awesome experience but has taken up a lot of my time.

[See post to watch Flash video]

This newsletter is jammed packed with news about a sensational style program that many of you girls have already gotten great results from, a great little video on feminine movement and a date claimer for a makeover workshop here on The Gold Coast. Of course we have our regular feature five minutes with.

I am very passionate about contributing to the TG community so I want you to know even if I do wander from time to time that I am always here to support you. This year has seen some amazing opportunities for me two of which were writing for both Frock Magazine and Transliving I have had several articles published and had great feedback. Graphics of Frock and Transliving

As a trained image consultant I see so many genetic women struggle with how they look and what others think of them. They struggle to know what styles suit their body shape the best and how to conceal their problem areas. I can only imagine how difficult it must be for you to know how to dress to look and feel feminine…well I actually do know your pain because I have experienced it first hand through my many TG clients. With all of this in mind would it be ok to share with you a style program that has already helped so many of you. When I first found this program I was so excited because I know it would help so many thousands of you girls.

Do yourself a huge favour and take the time to look at the program in detail; and if you think it would help you go ahead and invest in yourself. Because I feel so guilty that I have neglected you I want to give you the program at a huge reduction. The program normally sells for $97 USD but for the next 30 days I am offering it to you for $79 USD but you need to put the code TGTSO to get your discount.

Here is an overview of what the program can do for you!

How To Walk Like A Woman

Here is a little video I thought you might enjoy on feminine movement it shows some lovely feminine moves.

Five Minutes With Jennifer Davis

Tell us a bit about you

I am a 59 y,o, pre-op transsexual, I’m married to a supportive spouse who will remain with me as my spouse after surgery. We are both very bisexual, but monogamous, we don’t swing.

What has been the biggest challenge for you so far?

Getting the necessary hormone treatments and saving money for electrolysis and surgery. I am also quite large, so hiding the fact that I was once a guy is difficult.

If you had to start over again, what would you do differently?

Started sooner and let the chip fall where they may with how life turned out. I would have transitioned at 18/

Who do you admire and why?

My dearest friend who helped me accept myself as being transsexual. It takes courage and determination to step out, what tips can you share and what is your motivator?	If you know it, don;t waste time not acting on it like I did. Accept it and be true to yourself.

What are your 3 biggest success tips?

Don’t be afraid to ask for help, you don’t have all the answers. Seek Medical and psychological assistance as soon as possible. Enjoy life, you only go around once, so make the most of it.

Fast Fun Facts About You

Nick Name: Jenny

Star Sign: Scorpio

Favourite Book: She’s not there

Favourite Movie: Normal

Best advice you’ve ever received: Dump my ex-spouse and transition

Best holiday and why: Normally I would say my birthday, but as for a holiday it has to be Christmas because I can get out and shop for the one’s I love.

Your long term goal: Complete electrolysis, have Facial Feminization Surgery, Breast Augmentation and Gender Reassignment Surgery. After that, enjoy life and travel.

What others say about me: Outside of the transgender community I seems to be well liked because I care about things.

Anything else we absolutely must know about you:

My current spouse is 21 years younger than me, but because she has Cerebral Palsy and gets around on a wheelchair, U am her Healthcare Provider. I found old friends still like even after transition.

Amanda Lepore’s, a boy from a poverty-stricken background is now one of the world’s most famous transsexuals and notable for her countless plastic surgery procedures. Her first surgery at the age of 15 her last year of high school was for a sex change in, and she has had numerous surgeries since.

2.Pete Burns: Spent Most Of His Life Savings On Reconstructive Surgery

Pete Burns, Former Frontman Of The British Band ‘Dead Or Alive’ famous for the song “You Spin Me Round (Like a Record)” has had extensive polyacrylamide injections in his lips, cheek implants, many nose remoldings and several tattoos. In 2006 he revealed he had ploughed most of his life savings into eighteen months of plastic surgery after an initial procedure on his lips went terribly wrong.

3. Donatella Versace: Created Herself A Caricature

Since taking over her brother Gianni Versace’s international fashion empire, platinum blonde fashion designer Donatella Versace has undergone a dramatic transformation courtesy of reconstructive surgery, turning her into a caricature of herself. Often nose jobs are usually to reduce the size of the nose but Donatella’s has been enlarged over the years, and it is now wider and flatter and a little crooked, indicative there was at least one failed nose job.

If that wasn’t enough, Donatella also has enlarged lips, not unlike the trout pouts of the Hollywood divas the designer clothes. Although the fashion icon has always had big lips, the over-sized top lip signifies that fillers, like collagen, have been injected copiously.

For a 53-year old, Donatella’s skin is very firm, indicative of a probable facelift. She doubtlessly also uses dermal injectables like Botox to eradicate wrinkles, even when she smiles. Her tight face is in strong contrast to the baggy skin on her body.

4. Hang Mioku: Self-Injected Cooking Oil In Her Face

Hang Mioku is a woman, 48 years old living in South Korea. She became horribly addicted to plastic surgery that she is now unrecognisable after her obsessiveness led her to inject cooking oil in her face. Her first plastic surgery procedure was when she was 28. Operation after operation, eventually left her face enlarged and disfigured.

The surgeons she visited declined to perform further work on her and one believes that her obsession could be an indicator of a psychological disorder. This led Hang to resort to injecting cooking oil in her own face. Her face became so monstrously large that she was nick named “standing fan” by the children in her neighbourhood – because of her enlarged face and petite body.

5. Jackie Stallone: Facelift, Nose Job, Cheek Implants Brow Lift

Silvester Stallone’s mother Jackie, famous for her claim that she could talk to dogs about the future having set up a psychic hotline charging callers for advice, has also achieved fame for what appears to be a might too much reconstructive surgery, apparently trying everything including facelifts, nose jobs, cheek implants, brow lifts and certainly lip jobs.

6. Jocelyn Wildenstein: The Us$4 Million Dollar Monster

Nicknamed by the press “The Bride of Wildenstein” referring to The Bride of Frankenstein, Jocelyn Wildenstein has reportedly invested up to US$4,000,000 on plastic surgery over several years, leaving her as one of the most awful infamous examples of cosmetic surgery addiction. How did that come about?

Late in the 1970’s a beautiful woman named Jocelyn Wildenstein had it made. A fresh-faced mother of two married to an exceptionally wealthy art dealer caught her husband in bed with a 21 year old Russian model. Any normal person would divorce him and take all his money, right? Not Jocelyn Wildenstein! Rather, she was determined to win back her husband’s affection by making herself more beautiful under the scalpel. Nevertheless, her husband left her but she will always have her cosmetic surgeon.

7. Dennis Avner: na na na na na na na na na na na na na na na na na na – Catman

Dennis Avner AKA “Catman” also known by his Native American name “Stalking Cat” incredibly underwent extensive plastic surgery to transform him to look like his totem animal – the tiger. His procedures included extensive tattoos, transdermal implants allowing whiskers to be worn, subdermal implants to changing the shape of his face and filing his teeth to make them look more tigerish.

8. Eric Sprague: Lizardman

Eric Sprague born in 1972, now known as Lizardman was the first recipient of surgery for creating a split tongue and is seen to be responsible for the subsequent surge in popularity for this particular modification. 700 hours of tattooing, five Teflon horn implants underneath the skin of his eyebrows, filing his teeth to sharp fangs, bifurcation of his tongue, and stretching his septum and earlobes has transformed this 37 year old into a reptile.

Michelle: My motivation is the fact I can’t stand being hidden away and not being myself, every year that has passed Michelle has been getting stronger and stronger and needs to burst out just like a new butterfly from it’s cocoon,

The best tip I can give is the old cliché that life is to short; who knows what tomorrow may bring.

Julie: What are your three biggest success tips

Michelle: Well, for me a good moisturiser as my skin gets dry easy I use Nivea soft intensive you can’t go wrong; using black eye shadow and a cotton tip instead of eyeliner and do it before your foundation to blend it in nice.

One way to continue on your path to femininity successfully is to dress for your body shape. Dressing for your body shape allows you to look great, feel great, and understand your body. Understanding your body is the best way to dress your best and look your best, especially when shopping. So many t-girls get stuck buying the wrong things when shopping, just because it looks good on the hanger, doesn’t mean it looks good on you!

The first step is to find out exactly what body shape you have. There are four common body shapes, pear, apple, hourglass and rectangle. Many t-girls are rectangles, however because of hormonal therapy; t-girls come in every shape and size, so it’s important to know which category you fit in.

If you are a pear your upper body is smaller than your lower body. When pears gain weight, they gain it in their hips and thighs. Pears look great in fitted tops in lots of patterns and colors paired with solid colored bottoms, to make those hips and legs slimmer. They also look great in a-line and flared skirts. When wearing jeans, dark denim it is best and always accessories your neck and ears to bring attention to the top portion of your body.

Apples have upper bodies that are larger than the lower, and unfortunately, when they gain weight it goes directly to their tummies! When it comes to jeans flat fronts and pockets help you look curvier, and a-line skirts that are short also flatter this shape. As far as tops, keep it simple with less patterns and don’t forget the right bra is the most important part of flattering this shape.

Okay…if you are one of the lucky t-girls that have a curvy hourglass figure, that’s great for you. This means your hips and shoulders are proportioned and you can wear patterns galore. But remember, you look the best in V-necks and stretch denim. Also, because of your small waist, be wary of jeans that gap in the back. And remember, don’t hide your body, baggy clothes are not flattering to your shape.

If you have a rectangle figure, like most t-girls then you have amazing legs. Show them off by wearing low rise jeans. Because your figure is straight up and down, you shouldn’t wear anything with vertical patterns, because you’ll look thinner. Wear scoop neck or v-neck tops to give you a curvier silhouettes. Other than that, have fun with colors and patterns.

What shape are you and what challenges have you had with your figure?

Cross dressers and transgenders should present themselves to the world by showing others their true selves, not offering the world a mask and disguise. Many are ashamed of their features, their style, their innate sense of womanhood and try to hide behind a mask of makeup, clothing, costumes, and other attributes that shield the world from their true selves.

However, it’s important to remember that your personal style is your way to communicate so you canportray your confidence, your integrity and the true essence of who you are.

People are influenced both consciously and unconsciously by your appearance, your physical attributes, your accessories. Important also are your speaking patterns and grammar along with your body language. You never get a second chance to make a first impression, so putting your best foot forward no matter where or what the situation is imperative for your personal style success. Beauty is within, but your outer impression is a reflection of your personality, your life, your professional goals, and your self esteem.

Polish, poise, posture, all add up to a you making a fabulous presentation of yourself. Always present yourself in the best possible way-your personal and professional self must always be your authentic self. So many times we see people who are so put together, but the minute the cameras stop rolling, they turn into a nasty person that no one wants to be around. Look deep within and find your authentic self and always let her shine through, no matter the situation.

Learn to stand out in the crowd. Select clothes that suggest POWER and CONFEDENCE and pair them with solid and vibrant colours and accessories that spell success. Build your wardrobe around two or three basic colours and add accents using a blouse, shirt and accessories. Be an inspiration to other t-girls and cross dressers by raising the bar on the way the world views your personal style.

What mask have you hidden behind that are hindering others from seeing your true self? How can you, as a t-girl, revamp your personal style while still staying true to your authentic self?

I look forward to hearing your thoughts!

Sincerely,

Summer is here! Whether you live in one of the hottest places on earth or a comfortable vacation spot, dressing classy for the summer can be hard…especially if you are a TGirl!

Before you start redoing your summer wardrobe, your first step is to purge your closet and store everything that can’t be worn this summer. Storing your fall and winter clothes not only keeps your mind from trying to get you to wear something that’s not season appropriate; but it also increases your closet real-estate which gives you loads of room for your summer shopping.

When shopping for the summer there are a few wardrobe staples that every TGirl should have:

A Flattering Bathing Suit. A great fitting flattering one or two piece bathing suit will last a TGirl for years to come. Because we are developing our wardrobe staples make sure you pick one that’s black, white or navy so that you’ll always have a swimsuit that doesn’t go out of style. Of course, you can build upon that base later.

A Strapless Convertible Bra. This is a very important staple in a TGirl’s wardrobe, especially in the summer. Showing your bra straps is a major no, especially when wearing strapless dresses, tank tops and halters. Invest in a convertible strapless bra that can be rearranged in as many possibilities as your wardrobe.

A Built In Bra Tank. Sometimes you just can’t wear a bra under everything. A built in bra tank allows you to feel the summer breeze without sacrificing support or the illusion of support.

A Ribbed cotton tank. Originally made for men, these shirts are now fashionably acceptable for women and can be incorporated within your wardrobe. You can wear them with jeans and a scarf, a suit jacket, or alone with lots of accessories.

Cotton Clothing. Whether it’s a light weight top in range of colors and prints or a comfortable printed dress, cotton clothing will keep you fashionable while feeling great in the summer heat.

A Strapless Dress. A strapless dress in black, navy, white or tan can be incorporated into your wardrobe seamlessly. Try a maxi dress paired with a great blazer or jean jacket with gladiator sandals or a shorter evening style strapless dress for those summer nights.

Khaki Shorts. Not only do khaki shorts keep you looking cool, but they come in a variety of lengths and look very sophisticated and chic when paired with summer tops.

Drawstring Pants. You’d be amazed at the combinations you can develop with a few pairs of classy drawstring linen pants. A khaki, white and brown pair are essential for a stylish summer wardrobe.

These are a few of your summer basics to get through the rest of this summer. Many of these pieces can easily translate to fall by using a technique called layering. Stay tuned to my blog for more TGirl tips!

Sincerely,

Hi I’m Rachel, a Tgirl living in Auckland. Recently I arranged a holiday to Surfer’s Paradise. This was to be my first holiday as Rachel and I was looking forward to it. I am not bad with my makeup but I know there is always room for improvement, so with a few weeks to go before my holiday I decided to start looking for a professional to give me a makeover. Didn’t matter if I only learned one little thing about makeup, and besides that I wanted a little treat while I was there and why not.

Where would I start my search, well Google of course? After a quick search for Makeup Artist’s which didn’t achieve the expected result I came across the Brisbane Tgirl’s web site. Don’t know why I didn’t start there in the first place. I saw a couple of Makeup Artist‘s on their which caught my eye. I emailed 2 of them, the first took a long time to reply but Julie from the Femininity Coach dropped me a line straight away. After a few email’s Julie gave me her phone number and I called the following day. From chatting with her, I could tell this was someone who cared about people. and I arranged a visit.

My flight arrived on a Saturday at 8am and I couldn’t get into my room until 4pm. What a waste of a day, well things could be further from the truth. Julie understanding my situation was quick to find a prefer solution. She arrange to pick me up from the Airport and take me back to her studio for a makeover followed by lunch and then a colour consultation.

The day started off good and just got better. I took all my makeup and had 6 or 7 foundations with me, and guess what. There wasn’t a single foundation in that lot that was correct for my skin colour. Julie with the aid of various coloured cloths showed me what base colour was needed to complement my skin tone. Once she had the correct foundation shade she applied my foundation. Normally I would plaster it on, but when Julie finished it looked so light and natural. She took time to explain everything she was doing and went over it as many times as I needed her too. On the eyes she used a brown eye liner. I never thought of using a brown before, but she explained that it would look softer and more natural and she was so right. Where she could she used my makeup. That way I could reproduce my makeover during the week myself keeping the costs of what I needed to buy to a minimum. Another problem area for me was applying my lip liner. Not only did Julie explain how to put it on, I now enjoy wearing it and use it every time. I have had a couple of professional makeovers before, but I feel that this time I learned a whole lot more than all the times before put together.

Once finished there were photographs, and what girl doesn’t like to have her picture taken. After that we broke for lunch, where I had chance to chat to her husband and another Tgirl who had driven Julie to the airport. Julie took the opportunity to catch up on some emails leaving me to enjoy the endless chat with the others. But once finished we return to the studio and continued our consultation. This time Julie went through various colours that would suit my skin colour. Then she tackled my suitcase, and believe me there was a lot of clothes in that suitcase. She went through which colours/fashions suited me what item went with another. Loads of changes and more pictures. I can tell you it was a fun day. Sadly it came to an end, and Monica (Tgirl) dropped me at my hotel, I was dressed of course.

Julie has regular meeting for all of her Tgirl’s and Sunday was no exception. Back to Julie’s for a fun day meeting a number of other Tgirls and GG’s. Watched a makeover on someone else. Which gave me a chance to refresh my memory from the day before? That was, just what was needed for me. Also meeting the other Tgirl’s gave me the chance to make arrangements to meet them during the coming week. This was going to be one good holiday.

What did I get out of my time at the Femininity Coach, beside a great makeover, new skills, new additions to my makeup kit, an understanding about skin tones, well friends and all you girls out there know how important it is for us Tgirl’s to have friends.

So if you live near Surfer’s or visiting, then you can’t go wrong with a visit to the Femininity Coach. A trip of a life time whether you are at the beginning of your journey or part way through. If you can’t make it to the femininity coach drop them an email anyway. You will find support and help there regardless.

Many thanks to all who helped to make my trip there so memorable, the skills I picked up, the boost it gave to my journey, the fun and most of all the friends.

Hi Julie

I want to thank you for my “Transformation Makeover,” for so many years I have had a dream of feeling like a princess, well today I looked and felt like a princess, thank you for making my dream come true.

The road for transgenders and cross dressers is not an easy one, I have harboured my secret of living a double life for so many years and I can’t tell you the difference working with you has made to my confidence, thank you.
Julie, you are so supportive to transgenders and cross dressers and you show that commitment to us girls by teaching us about presentation and makeup. When I go out now people comment how fantastic I look and such a boost to my confidence level (in fact all the girls who have worked with you stand out in the crowd).

I am so glad that I made the effort to come and see you, even though it was such a big step for me.

I would highly recommend that other transgenders and cross dressers use your fantastic service as my confidence levels have soared through the roof.

Once again Julie, thank you so much.

Hi Julie,

I just wanted to express my gratitude for everything you have done for me. I can’t believe how far I have come in such a short space of time…it is amazing! All the other girls that know me are so impressed at the results I have achieved, and to be honest I don’t think I could have ever done this by myself.

Your help and understanding has been invaluable to me. I look back through my photos over the past three months and see the transformation and it is nothing short of a miracle!

I am looking forward to working with as I continue my journey to feminization and I would recommend that anyone who wants to look beautiful and feminine to work with you also.
A couple of weeks ago now I emailed Julie for some help and advice, from the word go she has helped me in so many ways imaginable. Julie has been totally amazing.

I have been dressing for 23 years now and my whole life has been leading up to this moment in time. I myself know that I have come a long way in a matter of a couple of weeks from my makeup, clothes, confidence and even getting rid of those monkeys on my back. A lot of the time I found myself asking questions and all it took was a push and a helping hand to face those questions and find those answers you need so you can push forward into the future and be the girl you want to be.

Thank you Julie for what you have done for me I don’t know where I would be without you in my life. It’s nothing short of a miracle to have found someone like you.

I am so blessed and happy that I sent you that email and look forward to sharing my journey even further with you and can’t wait to see what the future entails.

It is a lonely life as a tgirl but there are ways to overcome it and move forward. I was blessed enough to go to one of Julie’s girlie days and I tell you, you would not believe how amazing you feel afterwards. Her workshops are packed filled with tips knowledge and understanding, set in a very comfortable environment.

The way Julie transformed me into such a beautiful woman was out of this world! Meeting other ladies like myself for the first time was a big step but an awesome one.

I have received some lovely feedback on my new look and style from other ladies and friends and can’t wait to see what other goals I can achieve and overcome in the future.

BRING ON THE GOALS!
