Those Legs Were Made For Walking

Monica, what long legs you have! All the better for showing them off in a short miniskirt. Girls, these are legs to die for and at just over 6ft Monica is stunning and towers beautifully over Julie.

If you have ever wondered how to minimise broad shoulders, accentuate your feminine features with your clothing and makeup, then have a look at this video. Monica is a stunning example of a T-Girl who will never be read, who looks absolutely fabulous and an inspiration to us all.

Transsexual wins apology over passport

A TRANSSEXUAL has won a written apology from the Department of Foreign Affairs and Trade for the distress she experienced as a result of having to travel on a passport that identified her as a man.

Stefanie Imbruglia, 42 – a first cousin of the pop star Natalie Imbruglia – has also secured the department’s agreement to other measures that amount to fairer treatment of transsexuals…

You Are Phenomenal!

phenom woman
One of our favorite poems at The Femininity Coach is Phenomenal Woman by Maya Angelou. This poem really helps you understand that beauty is what you make it and inner beauty and myster really does shine through. I know many of you have heard this before, but it’s definitely worth looking at again and taking the words to heart, because each of us are phenomenal women!

Pretty women wonder where my secret lies.
I’m not cute or built to suit a fashion model’s size
But when I start to tell them,
They think I’m telling lies.
I say,
It’s in the reach of my arms
The span of my hips,
The stride of my step,
The curl of my lips.
I’m a woman
Phenomenally.
Phenomenal woman,
That’s me.

I walk into a room
Just as cool as you please,
And to a man,
The fellows stand or
Fall down on their knees.
Then they swarm around me,
A hive of honey bees.
I say,
It’s the fire in my eyes,
And the flash of my teeth,
The swing in my waist,
And the joy in my feet.
I’m a woman
Phenomenally.
Phenomenal woman,
That’s me.

Men themselves have wondered
What they see in me.
They try so much
But they can’t touch
My inner mystery.
When I try to show them
They say they still can’t see.
I say,
It’s in the arch of my back,
The sun of my smile,
The ride of my breasts,
The grace of my style.
I’m a woman

Phenomenally.
Phenomenal woman,
That’s me.

Now you understand
Just why my head’s not bowed.
I don’t shout or jump about
Or have to talk real loud.
When you see me passing
It ought to make you proud.
I say,
It’s in the click of my heels,
The bend of my hair,
the palm of my hand,
The need of my care,
‘Cause I’m a woman
Phenomenally.
Phenomenal woman,
That’s me.

Beauty Tips from Audrey Hepburn

Below is a poem and original writings by Audrey Hepburn. It was read at her funeral and is great inspiration to keep us all remembering that beauty starts from within first, and the rest will follow.

For attractive lips, speak words of kindness..
For lovely eyes, seek out the good in people.
For a slim figure, share your food with the hungry.
For beautiful hair, let a child run his/her fingers through it once a day.
For poise, walk with the knowledge that you never walk alone.

People, even more than things, have to be restored, renewed, revived, reclaimed, and redeemed; never throw out anyone. Remember, if you ever need a helping hand, you will find one at the end of each of your arms. As you grow older, you will discover that you have two hands; one for helping yourself, and the other for helping others.

Does inner confidence affect outer beauty? I want to hear from you!

Are You A Princess?

angela-before-after

Recently I helped T-Girl, Angela, make her transformation into the confident and beautiful woman she always was (go to Testimonials to read more about Angela’s transformation). After the process, Angela said to me, “…for so many years I have had a dream of feeling like a princess, well today I looked and felt like a princess, thank you for making my dream come true.”. This statement touched me profoundly and got me thinking about self esteem and childhood dreams.

The lack of self esteem can be a problem that can cripple us in today’s society. Constantly comparing yourself to other people or repeatedly telling yourself that you are not worth it, not beautiful, or could be better is damaging to your personal self image and accomplishing your life goals.

Not only can low self esteem stop your success, but it can also stop you ability to dream big and cause you to make bad decisions in life including entering stressful and unhealthy relationships. The journey of a T-Girl isn’t easy, but neither is any journey in life. Between the media and what our parents tell us, it’s no wonder we lost that free confidence we had as a child.

Remember when we were children? We never cared about what is and what is not acceptable, we never stopped what we said or what we wanted to do. We dressed the way we wanted and we definitely didn’t scrutinize ourselves in the mirror…we simply were ourselves and enjoyed life.

As children, the outside didn’t matter; we lived in our own worlds and didn’t care what people thought about us. Then suddenly, it all came crashing down. We didn’t believe we could be Cinderella or Snow White anymore; we began to squeeze ourselves in these little boxes that people put us in as we waited for their approval.

However, it’s not too late to re-examine your life and dream big again. As your take the journey to being a T-Girl, stop worrying about what other people think about you or society’s acceptance…be you!!

Here’s a great activity to get you started. Comment on this blog and share with me some of your childhood fantasies and role models. You’ll be surprised at how much you let go as you got older.

I look forward to hearing from each of you!

Sincerely,
